The Thalir Capuchin Animation Centre is a dedicated welfare organization located in Arasur, Villupuram. Our name, Thalir, signifies a tender sprout—representing our commitment to nurturing the vulnerable and fostering new beginnings.

Guided by Franciscan values of peace and fraternity, our professional team provides a safe environment for individuals facing life's challenges. Beyond counseling, Thalir is deeply committed to the social upliftment of the poorest, including special services for Primitive Tribal people (Irulars), Transgender communities, Gypsies, the physically challenged, and the rural poor.

Initiated by Br. Nithiya OFM.Cap during the global pandemic, and assisted by Br. Joseph in technical and logistical operations, Thalir's online training programs expanded our reach far beyond Tamil Nadu. Over three years, we have provided leadership training, psycho-spiritual development, and language courses to a diverse global audience.

Including six-month Franciscan Spirituality courses, six-week holistic spiritual growth programs, Leadership training, and proficiency courses in Italian, Spanish, and English.

Serving Religious Leaders, Major Superiors, Formators, Teachers, Students, Research Scholars, and College professors. Facilitated by expert resource persons including Bishops, Jesuits, Salesians, and Religious Sisters.

Accessible to All

Programs were offered gratis to participants from Africa, South America, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Myanmar, as well as all Cloistered sisters and Capuchins.
