Indian Capuchin center provides online international training for priests, nuns
Villupuram, September 30, 2020: The Franciscan Capuchin friars of Amala Annai Province in India have initiated a series of online formation programmes for the English speaking religious men and women, Capuchin Father Nithiya Sagayam, director of Thalir (vitality) Holistic Welfare Centre in Villupuram, told Matters India.
According to him, 35 countries from Africa, Asia, Europe and the Americas participate in the International Online programmes organised by the center, situated in Tamil Nadu, India.

Villupuram, Tamil Nadu, February 15, 2021: Due to lockdown, while many have lost jobs and stayed indoors, the Capuchins of Tamil Nadu in India have launched an online global reach out programme aimed at religious formators and formees.
In the recently concluded three-day online programme for religious formators and formees, altogether 4354 participants from 23 countries participated. Ever since September 2020, the Capuchin Centre has reached out to around 10,000 participants through its Thalir Centre.
